A-Class rendered as an Estate

Mercedes has an extensive compact car lineup that covers almost every aspect that potential buyers could be looking for in the segment. However there is someone who seems to think that there is still demand for a model that favors boot space and increased practicality. Now this rendering doesn't look bad at all, I just don't think there is a demand that would justify MB investing in it.

Merc doesn't need another estate, but it does suit the A-Class fairly well. They already have the E Class All Terrain in the pipeline.

I'm as big of a fan of the AMG E63 as the next guy, but I don't think they need another wagon in their stable. I personally don't know why you wouldn't just for one of their SUV's if you were looking for something with better off road potential.

Lets not forget models like the GLA and of course all the SUV's Mercedes sells that can be had for a similar price. It just doesn't make sense to bring to market. Who will buy?

Just thought that the A-Class lended itself well as an Estate, and it's not something that I expect Merc to pursue. I think they nailed the hatchback's design, its just unfortunate that its restricted by region.

Only wagon i'd like to see is one based off the C-Class. With higher end wagons raising the bar quite a bit it creates demand for an affordable version of that tech.
