Well that's easy to say and the same can be said for most car makers, its more about what models of tires from those brands as that can be night and day from what another car comes with or even another trim of that same model.

sometimes they could have an agreement with a certain tire manufacturer as well. should be fine so long as they don't go with the most affordable option from Goodyear because there are different levels of tires as well.

I can see that happening here given how much better of a product it is for that level of development, definitely not something that was possible with the CLA. But on that point will be the question of what an AMG model will be like, its what special tires should get paired with.
