A- Class plug in hybrid to debut in 2019
According to a report from Autocar UK, the A-Class will be receiving a PHEV variant next year. This model is likely going to wear MB news EQ badge and will rival the Audi A3 e-tron. Leaked internal documents have indicated that the car will be named the A 250 e 4matic and will be powered by a 1.3l four cylinder petrol (165hp) and a 67kW (90hp) electric motor. As the name suggests it will have standard AWD, with the combustion engine powering the front wheel and the electric motor powering the rear.
