Exterior

Today the 2019 Mercedes Benz A-Class Sedan configurator went live, giving us a look at specs for both launch models: A 220 and A 220 4 Matic. For the exterior owners get to choose from 9 colors, 6 wheels, and further customization via the AMG Line Packages. Although you'll pay around $5,000 for all the sought after goods, the changes make a drastic difference.

I always expected pricing to be within the CLA's, after all the A-Class Sedan is essential a true sedan. CLA was more coupe-styled, a baby-CLS.

However the bonus here is we get MB's latest design language that's also featured on their new hypercar

Very impressed with the amount of standard kit in the A-Class. Not that interested in the AMG Line styling packages, and will be waiting to see what pricing is like on the actual performance models.

I've never been a fan of the AMG kits either. What's the point of the car looking the part if it doesn't have the performance to match. I guess its for those who can't spring for the top end models.

sadly its what sells for much the same reason people buy supercars and hypercars but never take them to the track or anywhere to be truly experienced
